Exotherm Corporation is a leader in designing and manufacturing custom-engineered fired process heaters for direct and indirect heating applications. One of their main products is a convection-based direct fired heater, the Uniflux® Heater. Uniflux Heaters are often used as thermal fluid heaters because the design of this style of heater eliminates the potential for flame impingement on the process tubes and provides a completely uniform heat flux density around the periphery of each tube. This uniform heat flux reduces fluid degradation and prolongs life of the thermal fluid. These fired heaters are offered in capacities up to 70MM BTU/hr and can be used in gas processing, steam superheating, cryogenic services, and chemical heaters (i.e. ammonia).
Exotherm also offers Indirect Fired Water Bath Heaters, and other custom systems.
